About That Night

I am completely in love with this book. I love how the author completely modernized her storyline to fit today’s world. Her writing makes you fall in love with her characters.

Rylann works for the US attorney’s office. She has a nickname for being a hardass and a go-getter. She does not stop until she gets what she wants. She is the type of person who plans every step of her life out and never defers from whatever plan she has. The thing is that she is not sure what falling in love is. She is completely scared.

Kyle is an ex-con. He was sent to prison for hacking into Twitter. He was released early because of a deal his sister made with the US Attorney. He is also making his own business. It is the business of computer security. He figures that since he went to jail for hacking he can help major companies from having the same issue. He has always looked for love he thought he found it once, but he was mistaken. He completely guards his heart and is extremely cautious about it. When Kyle and Rylann meet up the sparks are about to fly.

I honestly did not think that the book would be as “today” as it was. I loved that though. Since the book was so modern and in today’s world it was easier to relate to the characters. The book moved from the very first page to the very end of the book. I honestly have to go out and buy the other books by this author. I think I have found another favorite author to add to my collection.
